The Mosquito Monitoring App is the first developed for the Atlas of Environmental Health.
This App is not for public use, but for use by Environmental Health professionals within Western Australia. If you work in this area and need access to the app, please contact the team via the support email.
The app provides a means to collect and submit data on:
• Adult mosquito trapping – deploying traps at sites around Western Australia, and collecting them,
• Larval mosquito monitoring – doing larval dips at sites around Western Australia, and
• Public Complaints – capturing information on public complaints relating to mosquitoes and other insects in Western Australia.
The app also has tools to allow you to see your sites on an interactive map (requires a data connection) and to synchronise your data to the servers that run the Atlas of Environmental Health.
This app has been developed for the Department of Health (WA) by Gaia Resources. It has been facilitated as part of the research underway within the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information, under the “Urban Health Geo-visualisation Tools” Project.
